Ooredoo Maldives has launched a new corporate social responsibility initiative called "Ooredoo Masjiduna" to support the repair of five mosques across the Maldives ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
The initiative is endorsed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments. Ooredoo Maldives Managing Director and CEO Shadi Qawasmi and Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed signed the agreement at a ceremony.
Ooredoo said the programme continues its commitment to "Enriching Lives" by giving back to the communities it serves.
The announcement does not say which five mosques will be repaired, the value of the contribution or the repair timeline.
