Terms of use

1.1“The site” means Market Watch, together with every page and feature published on it.

1.2“We”, “us” and “our” mean the publisher named at the foot of this page. “You” means the person using the site.

1.3Headings are for convenience and do not affect how a clause is read.

2.1The site is an independent publication about the companies listed on the Maldives Stock Exchange.

2.2It is not the exchange, and it is not connected to the exchange, to the Capital Market Development Authority, or to any listed company or broker named on it.

2.3It is not a broker, a dealer, an investment adviser or any other regulated financial institution. It cannot open an account for you, hold anything on your behalf, or place an order.

3.1Nothing on the site is investment advice or a recommendation, and nothing on it is an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell any security.

3.2The site carries general information that takes no account of your objectives, your financial position or your needs.

3.3Decisions about your money are yours. Before acting on anything you read here, check it against the exchange's own disclosures and consider taking advice from someone licensed to give it.

4.1Market figures are read periodically from Maldives Stock Exchange and republished here.

4.2They are the exchange's last published trade rather than a live quote. They may be delayed, and a fault in how a page is read could make a figure wrong.

4.3If a figure here matters to you, check it against the exchange before relying on it. Where the two disagree, the exchange is right.

5.1The site is provided as it stands and as it is available, without warranty of any kind.

5.2We do not promise that the site will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or free of fault.

5.3To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, or from anything you did or did not do because of it.

5.4Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

6.1Articles, headlines, photographs and other editorial work published on the site belong to us.

6.3Market data, index values and filings originate with the Maldives Stock Exchange and with the companies and institutions that issued them, and remain theirs.

6.4Company and broker logos are the property of their owners. They appear on the site to identify those organisations and do not imply any endorsement.

7.1You may read the site, link to it and share it freely.

7.2You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation, or place automated load on it heavy enough to degrade it for other people.

7.3If you want market data in bulk, take it from the exchange, which is where it comes from.

7.4The administration area is for authorised staff. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

8.1Links to other sites are offered for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish.

8.2A link is not an endorsement. Once you follow one, you are on that site's terms and its privacy policy rather than ours.

9.1These terms may change. The version on this page is the one in force, and the date at the top says when the wording last changed.

10.2The courts of the Republic of Maldives have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
