MTCC to hold annual general meeting on 29 October

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company PLC (MTCC) will hold its Annual General Meeting 2025 on the night of 29 October. The meeting starts at 8:30pm and will be held online through FahiVote, the Maldives Securities Depository’s platform.

Only shareholders registered in MTCC’s shareholder registry as of 28 September can take part and vote. Shareholders who wish to attend must register before 8:30pm on 27 October. Pre-registration and proxy registration both opened on 15 October at 2:00pm and close at the same time on 27 October. Shareholders can register themselves or appoint a proxy.

The agenda includes:

• Approving the dividend proposed by the Board of Directors from the 2025 profits

• Appointing an external auditor for 2026 and setting the auditor’s remuneration

• Electing directors to represent general shareholders for the coming term

MTCC said it is making arrangements so that as many shareholders as possible can take part easily through the online platform.
