Danish resigns from STO board
Danish Mohamed Ameen has stepped down from his position on the board of State Trading Organization.
Danish Mohamed Ameen has resigned from his position as a board member of State Trading Organization (STO), the government's trading enterprise.
STO confirmed the resignation, and in a social media post, thanked Danish for his contributions during his time on the board.
Following his departure, the company said it is now working to appoint a replacement to the vacant seat. Aside from Danish, STO's board currently comprises six other members.
Danish holds a background in law and previously worked in a legal role at the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA).
