Ooredoo Maldives Shuffles Leadership
Ooredoo Maldives has appointed a new Chairman, two new Board Directors and a new Company Secretary, effective 1st August 2026.

Ooredoo Maldives has announced a leadership reshuffle, appointing a new Chairperson, two new Board Directors, and a new Company Secretary effective 1st August 2026.
Ahmad Abdulaziz A A Al-Naema steps into the role of Chairman and Independent, Non-Executive Director. A Qatari national, Al-Naema currently serves as Group Regional Chief Executive Officer for North Africa and Asia at Ooredoo Group, overseeing strategic operations across multiple countries.
Joining him on the board are Khalid Hassan M A Al-Hamadi and Saim Yaksan. Al-Hamadi, formerly Managing Director and CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, takes on the role of Non-Independent, Non-Executive Director, while Yaksan, a German national and Group Chief Procurement Officer, joins as an Independent, Non-Executive Director. All three are nominated representatives of Wataniya International FZ-LLC.
